Return
Since our products are handmade and personalized, returns are not allowed unless the product or a part of it is defective or has been damaged during shipping. Therefore, each product will be individually analyzed, and we will provide a fair solution as soon as possible. In case the damages are justified, you have 48 hours to report them from the day of receipt; otherwise, the company will bear no liability. We recommend our clients to unpack the product upon arrival, so we can be as decisive as possible.
Shipping
As we manufacture all products in house and upon request, the delivery time is 40 working days for standard lamps and 60 working days for custom orders. Shipping cost will be calculated automatically and shown when confirming your purchase; they might vary depending on the destination, size, and weight of the package. We ship worldwide but for international shipments, customs related charges are not included in the final price. In these cases, the client is the one who must take charge of these extra costs. A confirmation email with a tracking number will be sent when your order has been shipped. Orders from our workshop take 2 to 3 working days in normal shipping. Europe 2 - 4 days. Rest of the World 3 - 6 days.
Shipping Claim
Please be aware that lighting is susceptible to damage during transit. We take great care to pack shipments so that they will arrive safely, so be sure to retain the original packing materials, original receipt and all merchandise tags for any item that you wish to return to us. You may have to provide supplementary packing materials if the outer carton has been worn during the original trip out to you. Please inspect your purchase immediately upon delivery. If there is a problem with your order, contact the CONTAIN customer service team within three (2) days of receipt. If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, we will work with you to make things right. Any damage during the shipping in items supplied by CONTAIN must be invoked within 48 hours after receiving. It is the customer duty to specify and, upon request, show the damage is expressed. Cancellation and Refund Policy
As each order is produced upon request, cancellation will only be feasible within 5 working days after receipt of payment.
Refund / Guarantee
If the product has to be returned because it is faulty or has been damaged, CONTAIN commits to issue a refund of the money as shortly as possible. Our products have a two-year manufacturer’s guarantee.
In accordance with the provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, 2007, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users, as well as other complementary laws, we provide you with the following information about our return policies:
Return Period
You have a period of 14 working days from receipt of the order to make the return. You must communicate your desire to exercise the right of withdrawal to Contain within this period, using any means admitted by law.
Return Conditions
You may return any item purchased from CONTAIN. However, no refund will be made if the product has been used beyond the mere opening, if it is not in the same condition of delivery or if it has been damaged. Be sure to return the item with all original packaging, instructions and other accompanying documents.
Return shipping costs
Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. Contain will proceed to refund the purchase amount through the same payment method used in the initial purchase, once the receipt and condition of the packaging and accessories of the returned item have been verified.
Specific Conditions
Defective Product of Origin
In case of a defective product, CONTAIN will make the exchange for the same item once the defective product is received. Only the first shipment will be invoiced, being CONTAIN responsible for the return and new shipment costs. If you wish to exchange for another item, you will assume the corresponding costs.
Incorrect Product
CONTAIN will cover the cost of picking up the wrong product and will deliver the one corresponding to the order placed.
Payment Methods and Production Terms
Full payment is required to place the order. Once the payment has been received, the product will start to be produced. The bank transfer needs to be made within ten working day, otherwise, it will be automatically cancelled. The client will also have ten working days to decide all the product’s details in order to avoid delays.
Production periods: As we manufacture all products in house and upon request, the delivery time is 40 working days for standard lamps and 60 working days for custom orders. When the order is ready to be shipped, you will receive an email from TNT with your tracking number. Please note that local customs and VAT will be charged when shipping outside the EU.
Exceptions
Please note that personalized products cannot be returned or cancelled. Remember that any deterioration of the product or non-conformity due to transport must be notified to Contain within 48 hours after receiving the shipment, by email to hola@contain.es.
